Okay so firstly, we stayed in one of the Rhino lodges on a Friday night and then explored the Safari on the Saturday. Then just have to be careful not to spend a fortune in the shopping village while back to the car park:D
#CERAMIC SHARDS LAST OASIS FULL#
I spent there about 3 hours, but in a sunny and warm day it can be a full day out, especially when the monkey kingdom is open, too. I can imagine how beautiful it is in April-May, so I think it worth to have another visit. That area of the estate was amazing even in wintertime. The estate is quite big to have a good and relaxing walk and when we walk around, then ended up at the Italian garden. I got another map with "fairy trail", and in the whole estate I could see fairy figures in different spots, which were very pretty and lovely. I turned to the left walked around the lake, just next to the monkey kingdom, which was unfortunately closed. It was not busy that time and luckily we had a nice dry winter weather. The garden has a huge visitor centre, where we get map and other information. I walked through the shopping village, which is also a different attraction, but 1 day before Christmas it was too much for me from lights, smells, music, etc. The car park is pretty huge and letter coded, so easy to get back later. Visited in December 2019, just before Christmas, when I had a holiday in the area. The reason I say this is because it gets quite congested meaning you can’t see and read the displays properly.

I suspect first thing in the morning mid-week. The Cavern re-creation is quite cool, but then you may as well just go to the Cavern!Īlso, if you’re not too great on your feet it does go on for quite a while, there are places to sit in the Cavern section which is about 25-35 mins in, and again about an hour in when there are aeroplane seats, then again about another 15 mins later when you reach sections on the beetles as individuals.Ī top tip would be to find out when the least busy times are and go then.

The walking guides/headset is a good idea in principle and it does save them money by not having individual guides walking around spitting out the same stuff over & over, however we felt they didn’t always run in order with the exhibits.įor the money I guess it’s worth it but I don’t see it as something you would re-visit. I understand official Beetles memorabilia is expensive but I felt it should of had more of the real deal. Considering this exhibit/museum has been in existence 30yrs we felt it wasn’t as good as it should be.
